    Its not.. They base loans on credit rating and income, your just a number to them. Everone jumps through the same hoops.

    They can not discriminate against you or any one else based on race, creed, color, sexual orientation, public assistance, etc. The fair lending act. You have to be qualified for collateral, capacity, and credit. If all are great you get the loan. If the underwriter in the loan department has issues about any of them you will have to provide additional information to them to get the loan.
