What is up with the people claiming to be private lenders?

What is up with the people answering the questions about people needing money real bad or they’d take a loan shark, etc… There are people answering that they are private lenders and they will finance anyone with like 3% or 5% interest, etc… I hope that no one took them up on it and e-mailed these people. It sounds like a scam to me. Someone trying to get their information. What do you think and have you seen the same thing on here?

I have not seen it, but completely agree with you. I hope no one falls for this. If it were legit, we wold ALL be refinancing our houses, paying off credit cards, etc.
As the saying goes…If it sounds too good to be true, it is.
