I am debating on whether to just go to a bank, maybe locally, or go through Lending Tree or possibly Capital One Auto Finance. I have really bad credit but have a cosigner with good credit.
If you have a solid co-signer, go to the place with the LEAST amount of fees and interest. Lending tree has a bunch of lenders that compete for your business. If you have a good co-signer you don’t need to look for a bad credit car loan. You could even try the bank you or your co signer use.
Have never tried either lending tree nor capital one, so don’t have any idea… But if you go through a bank you would have to pay higher rate of interest compared to lenders.
Bad credit is not a problem as there are car loans available for people with bad credit and as you said you have a cosigner with good credit…you can get a loan with lowest possible rates.Try this website . They provide loan to people with all type of credit situation.
Lending tree will not be a big help at all. You need to go to a loan house (like Lending Tree) that specializes in bad credit financing. I know of one, and you could get a loan with bad credit and WITHOUT a co-signer. They work just like Lending Tree, where you fill out one application and it goes to a number of lenders, and you pick the best one. Try-it and see if you like what comes back.
I would check this out you just have to enter your zip code and they basically ll your approved my bro used them and got a pretty good reate as well
