Credit.
redheadedstepchild asked: Where can I find legitimate lenders willing to lend money to a person with adverse credit information on their files? I have been the victim of a greedy ex-wife that has damaged my credit.
I don’t want to be vicitmized again by some “shady” lender/locater service.
Citi finacial, but the real question is are there any lenders giving loans right now especially to people with bad credit? becuase just because they are not covering it any more we still are headed for the big R word
If you really want to protect yourself, stay away from the internet and walk into a reputable bank, explain your situation and see what they say.
Credit is tight these days because lenders made too many loans to people with iffy credit. Unfortunately, not everyone with “iffy” credit deserves that label. Good luck!
Most of the lenders are not giving money to individuals with poor credit unless you own a house or have some other form of collateral! Why dont you get your credit fixed? Pull your credit report and identify what items are old, duplicates and outdated and get them removed by writing letters to the credit bureaus. Then settle on the old collections that you cant get deleted to clear up your credit file. Pay your bills ontime every month to start re-building your credit profile.
** If you are a member of a credit union, go there.. explain your situation and they may be able to help you without the extra fee’s and high interest rates.
go to … or envision lending group… depends on what state u r from if they can help you..
